At the heart of the museum, the Jardin des Cultures reimagines what a cultural space can be: a place for learning, making, resting and simply being. Conceived as an open and welcoming environment, it dissolves the idea of the museum as a sacred, untouchable space and instead invites visitors to engage freely.

In this video, Antonio Mendes, Head of the Public Department at @mudamlux introduces the Jardin des Cultures and reflects on how rethinking the museum’s spaces can open them to everyone across ages, backgrounds and practices.
