REGARDS CROISÉS
↘ Asia NOW 2025 — Monnaie de Paris
For the 11th edition of Asia NOW, Regards Croisés brings together three curators — Anissa Touati, Arnaud Morand, and John Tain — around the shared theme “Grow”.Through their conversations, they explore how artistic and curatorial practices can connect West and South Asia, from AlUla’s desert landscapes to collective narratives of nature and memory.
Anissa Touati reflects on Leela Gandhi’s concept of “affective communities”, guiding this year’s fair as a space for emotional and intellectual exchange. Arnaud Morand discusses how artists from AlUla navigate questions of territory, heritage, and transformation, revealing how creation can act as a dialogue between places and histories. John Tain opens new bridges between the Lahore Biennale and Asia NOW, questioning how art can reimagine our relationship to the environment.
